A Bee Well Production, LLC has installed Honeybee Hives on the roof of the Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf and at six other hotels roofs in San Francisco. This initiative will help re-populate the bee population, and produces delicious honey. Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf has donated the proceeds of their honey sales to various charities.
Since 2008 Fish Revolution has partnered with industry members in every area of the seafood supply chain to shift millions of dollars of annual revenue away from harmful fishing and aquaculture practices. In 2011 they partnered with Fog Harbor Fish House to establish the first 100% sustainable seafood restaurant on PIER 39. Fish Revolution also joined Pier Market, Wipeout Bar & Grill, and Scoma's on their journey to become 100% sustainable.

Environmental issues such as pollution prevention and water usage are relevant to their operation. Aquarium of the Bay Reduces their plastic footprint in a variety of ways:
- Encouraging all staff to follow Zero Waste principles
- Requiring that events held there abide by Zero Waste guidelines
- Recycling much of the plastic packaging they receive in retail shipments
- In 2015, Aquarium of the Bay recycled about 4 cubic yards of film plastic, which means that about two standard pickup truck beds worth of plastic is not infinitely sitting in the landfill.
