FWCBD a Poppy Award Finalist

In February of 2015 the Fisherman's Wharf CBD partnered with the Union Square BID on a Valentine's-themed campaign in which the two districts were "dating" for the month of February. Due to the success of this creative campaign, the CBD is now a finalist in The Visit California Poppy Awards, a biennial contest that honors the best and brightest of California tourism promotion. In order to become a finalist the CBD competed against other nominees, including some of the largest Destination Marketing Organizations in the state. The CBD and the BID are nominated in the category of Best Collaborative Regional Marketing Campaign. The winners will be announced at an awards gala on February 23.
